You are invited to participate in the Eighth
Atmospheric Science Symposium sponsored by the
UC Berkeley Atmospheric Sciences Center (BASC).
Please use the
web form to register and submit your
poster title.
The goal of the Symposium is to stimulate interaction
among the community of atmospheric science researchers
and students from UC Berkeley and the surrounding
institutions. We invite participants from around
the San Francisco Bay Area including (but not
limited to) UC Berkeley, UC Davis, Stanford, NASA-AMES,
Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, Lawrence Livermore
National Lab, SRI, USGS, and the California Air
Resources Board.
This symposium will be a two day event including
keynote seminars, poster sessions, and discussion.

Poster sessions will
be interspersed with the talks. Atmospheric scientists
from around the San Francisco Bay Area will have
the opportunity to present their work. Participation
in the poster sessions by students and postdoctoral
researchers is particularly encouraged.
Maximum dimensions for the posters: 3' Horizontal
X 4' Vertical
Registration
begins August 18, 2008. Poster submissions
(only 1 lead-authored poster per registered attendee
please) will be accepted prior to September,
26 2008. One poster per person will be accepted up
to capacity of the conference site, after which we will send
notices to those whose posters cannot be accepted due to
space constraints.

Registration fee for the event will be $50 (free
for undergraduates), and will include lunch and
a reception.
